UNICEF Nigeria Monthly Humanitarian Situation Report, 25 May 2012
Highlights
A total of 15,944 new cases of Children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) have been treated in the month of April in the 363 Community Management of Acute Malnutrition sites.
While much has been achieved, UNICEF and the humanitarian community needs to massively scale up interventions. More resources and partners needed to meet the needs. The funding shortfall for sector beyond nutrition management places constraints on UNICEF integrated response scale up plans.
