As the violent insurgency continues to affect north-east Nigeria, the Displacement Tracking Matrix Round III published in April 2015, identified 1.5 million people as displaced and living with host communities, camps and camp-like settlements. The highest percentage of displaced people have been registered in Borno state (63% of the total number of displaced population), which is facing acute food insecurity.
