Three children were killed in a mudslide in Sindhupalchowk this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Shreejana Kaki, 13, Samikshya Karki, 9, and Ravi Karki, 13, of Bhotechaur VDC-2 of the district, reports quoted local villagers as saying.

Their dead bodies were recovered from a heap of earth that fell on them while they were drinking water.

Two women were killed in a mudslide while digging the mud used for painting the house at Takatung of Bahadurpur VDC-3 in Palpa district on Wednesday.
