NAY PYI TAW, 20 Aug-A ceremony to provide bags of rice, paddy strains and cash assistance for farmers who ran into trouble with flood and flood victims in Ayeyawady Region was held at Ayeyawady Government Office yesterday morning.

It was also attended by Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Thein Aung, region ministers, CE Members of Myanmar Rice Industry Association, responsible personnel from firms and local media.

At the ceremony, Myanmar Rice Industry Association donated 30000 baskets of paddy strain , 500 bags of rice and K 3 million, Ayeyawady Region Myanmar Rice Industry Association 200 bags of rice, Max Myanmar Co., Group (Ayeyawady Foundation) 500 bags of rice and K 3 million, Farmer Phoe Yazar Co., 500 bags of rice, Myaungmya Rice Mill Entrepreneurs Association K 10 million, Gold Delta Co., K 3 million, Sima Co., K 3 million, Zalunayar Rice Miller Co., K 2 million, Toeayar Co., K 3 million and 30000 basket of paddy strain, 1700 bags of rice and K 27 million. The officials responded to the questions asked by the local media.
