I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES
The United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights has raised concerns about the civic and political rights restrictions of civilians in Northern Mali.
Access to education remains a major challenge for thousands of children in the North.
The humanitarian appeal for Mali is only funded at 47%. 100 million US dollars have been secured out of a global requirement of $213 million.
