• On 04 April the Ministry of Education (MoE), UNICEF, and other Mine Action actors celebrated Mine Risk Awareness Day 2012. The events included a march by the Boy Scouts Association, a drawing competition for school children and a press conference.

• On 05 June the MoE and UNICEF marked the World Environment Day in a local Tripoli school, planting trees and discussing environmental issues with the children there.

• In the period April – June,
  UNICEF Libya has finalized its Libya Country Programme Document for 2013-2014 in a consultative process with Ministries, bilaterals, and the UNCT.
