According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting they discussed readiness for measles vaccination in the southern region of the republic. According to data as of May 1, 2015, 1 thousand 787 cases of suspected cases of measles registered in Jalal-Abad oblast. 396 thousand doses of vaccines and 400 thousand syringes allocated for the second phase of vaccination in Jalal-Abad oblast. The minister stressed that now the acute problem is prevention of infectious diseases and the development of public health services.
