Indonesia: Landslide in Sukabumi, 200 flee

Around 200 people were forced to find refuge after a landslide hit their homes in Manggu village, Sukabumi, West Java on Monday.

"Some 40 houses collapsed in the incident," Rustam Pattaya, head of the Disaster Directorate at the Health Ministry said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Rustam said the landslide happened following four days of torrential rain.

The ministry official said there no fatalities were reported in the incident. (dre)
