Floods Emergency Situation Report in West Java Province # 1, 18 January 2013

HIGH LIGHTS
The Center for Health Crisis of Ministry of Health (CHC/MOH) reported the flood situation in West Java Province that affected 174 villages in 54 sub-districts in 4 districts and 1 City with water level 10 to 200 cm height. The affected areas, as following:
On 19 January 2013 at 16.00 Western Indonesian Time (UTC+7), The CHC/MoH reported 4 people were affected by serious illness, 4,742 people were treated in outpatient clinic due to minor illness, 18,659 people were displaced, 67,780 people were threated, and 1 community health post was damaged/inundated;
Some disease cases were reported to occur, including: Upper Track infection/UTI (2293cases), Dermatitis (1750 cases), Fever (135 cases), Diarrhea (114 cases) myalgia (49 cases), Gastritis (35 cases), Hypertensi (18 cases), Headache (9 cases) and Lacerations (3 cases).
