A. SITUATION REPORT

With no rain in past 24 hours, water level in the affected districts have been started receding as reported by local NGOs and IAG members from different districts. However, thereat is continued to be there in the areas near Nepal Boarder. It has been heard that about 10 km stretch in Supaul district near Nepal is lying at risk due to second spill of heavy rain started in Nepal which may again aggravate the flood situation in adjoining areas of Bihar State. 50 lac population got affected till the date.

IMD Warning:

Bihar- No rainfall from 31st July to 4th August
UP- Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places on 31st July and 1st August
Assam- No rainfall from 31st July to 4th August
Odisha- Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places on 31st July and 4th August
