AREAS AFFECTED

Region 1 - BARIMA-WAINI

The Sand Jose to Kumaka dam, one of the main access road in the region, remains inundated despite three consecutive days of sunshine.

Region 2 - POMEROON-SUPENAAM

The Regional Administration reported that the water receded in the affected communities along the Pomeroon River and situation in the region is back to normal. It was noted, that the rice farmers are now in need water for cultivation.
