Health projects begin service

Nekempt August 19/2012 Some 11 health projects constructed in Horogudru Wollega Zone of Oromia at a cost of 13 million Birr and went in to operation, the Zonal finance and economy development office said.

Office head, Dinku Gilo told ENA that five of them are new while the remaining are outstanding projects.

He said the government and African Development Bank covered the construction cost of the projects.

According to him, the projects benefited over 75, 000 people.

Similarly, he said six health projects are underway at a cost of over 19 million Birr.

Up on finalization he said, the projects would benefit over 225,000 people.
