Key Events

  • Assistance to conflict-affected communities in Nogob is on-going after more than two months delay. The dispatch of relief food by DRMFSS for 2,372 people in Meyu Muluke woreda is complete, while the ration for the 1,925 people in Kubi woreda is en route. IOM is waiting for the UNDSS security assessment and clearance today, to start dispatching the NFIs. Some 2,372 people in Meyu Muluke and 1,540 people in Kubi require NFI support.

  • The polio caseload in Ethiopia increases to six. Reported measles cases in SNNPR are also increasing.

  • Half ration of CSB for sixth round relief food assistance. Delays in fifth round distribution.
