KEY EVENTS

  • Preliminary results of seven biannual nutrition surveys revealed the need to scale-up emergency nutrition responses in Dembale and Kelafo woredas of Somali region and Mieso woreda of Oromia region.

  • The development of a new camp (Pamdong) in Gambella, which was selected on 16 July, is being expedited.

  • As part of the acute watery diarrohea (AWD) outbreak prevention measure, the Government and health partners procured Oral Cholera Vaccination (OCV) and the vaccination campaign in the camps and entry points is scheduled for 24 July.
