Ethiopia Weekly Humanitarian Bulletin, 14 January 2014
The polio caseload in Ethiopia increased to seven. The Ministry of Health, with support from health partners, continues to implement prevention and control measures to contain the various outbreaks around the country, including measles, dengue fever and polio.
Between 15 December 2013 and 12 January 2014, 18,616 South Sudanese arrived in Ethiopia. The Government refugee agency, ARRA, and UNHCR, with support from partners, are coordinating the humanitarian assistance to the new arrivals.
