Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- A spell of dry weather continues in the DPRK. There have been sporadic rainfalls in most areas of the county from 00:00 Tuesday to 10:00 Saturday, which were not enough to overcome the damage from drought.

According to data available, it rained 18 mm in Jagang Province, 13 mm in Pyongyang City, 4 to 8 mm in North and South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho City.

No rainfall was witnessed in North and South Hwanghae, Ryanggang and Kangwon provinces.
