Addis Ababa, 30 April 2012 - The Chairperson of the Commission of the African Union (AU), Dr. Jean Ping, informed of the loss of human lives and considerable damage caused by the severe waether conditions in the Comoros over the past few weeks, calls upon the AU Member Sates and the international community as a whole to provide the necessary support.
