HIGHLIGHTS:
ARGENTINA, PARAGUAY and URUGUAY: 8 dead and thousands affected by 150 km/h winds.
COLOMBIA: Strong winds affected 1,300 families in the Caribbean and Andean zones.
ECUADOR: 800 families affected and 17,485 hectares of forest were damaged by forest fires.
