HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES:

• 5th to 8th of August heavy rainfall hit central, northern and south parts of the BiH

• The Federal and the RS meteorological Institutes report that the weather conditions will be good for the next four days

• Heavy rainfall caused new flooding and activation of landslides (e.i. 37 new landslides in Tuzla, 14 new landslides in Banja Luka, 20 in Celinac ) causing damage to property, infrastructure (roads, bridges, railway services) and agricultural land

• Hard access to communities of Donji Brdaci, Topcic Polje, Zeljezno Polje, Bistrica, Starina, Smajici, Kolici, Krepsic, Vucilovac

• Government of the Federation of BiH, Brcko District, Banja Luka, Celinac, Kozarska Dubica, Petrovo, Kostajnica declared a state of natural and other disasters

• Some areas that were hit by May floods were flooded again (e.i. Zenica, Topcic Polje, Zepce, Zeljezno Polje, Banja Luka, Srebrenik, Tuzla, Celic, Lukavac, Gračanica, Doboj Istok, Celinac, Bijeljina, Brcko District)

• Priority needs in the affected areas are cleaning, disinfection, machinery for removal of debris
