HIGHLIGHTS:

  • MÉXICO: Up to 200,000 people have been affected by rains.

  • NICARAGUA: Some 4,500 people affected by the rains, mainly in the capital, Managua, and the west coast.

  • COLOMBIA: The government allocated US$95 million for the reconstruction of homes for people in rural areas.

  • BOLIVIA: Sectorial working groups have been activated to facilitate access to humanitarian aid to 7,000 people affected.
