Flood Outlook

  • The Jamuna and the Padma river systems are in rising trend which may start to fall during next 24 hours while the Brahmaputra & the upper Meghna river are in falling trend which may likely to continue during next 24 hours.

  • The Ganges is in rising trend which may continue during next 24 hours.

  • The Jamuna at Bhadurabad & the Ghagot at Gaibandha are flowing above their respective danger level by 44 cm & 26 cm recorded today at 06.00 AM.

  • The Surma at Sunamganj, the Kangsha at Jariajanjail & Lakhya at Narayanganj are flowing above their respective danger level by 26 cm, 80 cm and 5 cm recorded today at 06.00 AM.

  • The flood situation in Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Netrokona & Gaibandha may likely to improve in next 24 Hours
