Tbilisi, Georgia, Sept.21

By Nana Kirtzkhalia – Trend:

The cities of Batumi and Poti in Western Georgia have been flooded as a result of continuous rains.

In Batumi rains flooded an auto station and some streets.

The rainfall did not create traffic jams. However, the movement of cars is hampered.

A five-point storm has been recorded on the sea.

In Poti the water rushed into the yards of several residential houses and flooded the first floors.

Local authorities provide aid to victims and assess damage.
