Tchindjenje - At least 15 families got homeless this morning, at Tchindjenje village, central Huambo Province, following heavy rains and wind that hit the region, ANGOP has learnt.

The local administration has been assessing the damages to carry out a plan to rescue the victims, in order to accommodate them.

On Tuesday, two residences and the premises of the local administration were destroyed in the locality, following the heavy rains and winds.

The broadcasting system of the state-run television station (TPA) and a health centre were also destroyed, but no human victims have been reported.

Meanwhile, 51 families got homeless, in Mungo District last week, after the rains.
