I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES
Flash floods in Khuram wa Sarbagh district of Samangan province killed two children, and wounded five people including four women on 30 May 2012, according a joint rapid assessment by humanitarian actors.
180 households were affected and 135 acres (54 hectares) of agricultural land and gardens were destroyed.
