Following Saudi Arabia’s assistance, another 1860 displaced families received the donations on Sept. 6, 2014

These donation packages which also include wheat, rice, cooking oil, tea, gas balloon, and other items needed for a family, were distributed to the most vulnerable families after conducting a careful survey.

Engineer Ahmad Wali admin and finance deputy of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates, Mohammad Hanif Gardiwal deputy governor of Nangarhar province, and some of the members of the National Council during the distribution of the assistance, appreciated the generous assistance of Saudi Arabia and asserted that the distribution process of such aid will also continue in other provinces for solving the problems of IDPs.

On the other hand, the internally displaced persons of Helmand, Herat, Balkh, and Jawzjan provinces which contain a large number of IDPs, will receive the assistance at the presence of Dr. Jamahir Anwari Minister of Refugees and Repatriations and some other officials of the ministry in the next 10 days.

Noting that the distribution of this stages is from the 2 million US dollar donations that covers different provinces of the country that includes nearly 16,000 families in which more than 90,000 most vulnerable IDPs are among them, will receive the donations in the next few days.
