AL MUKALLA, 27th June, 2017 (WAM) -- An Emirati cargo ship carrying 15 buses to support schools and sporting clubs in the Hadhramaut, Shabwa and Ma'rib governorates arrived at Al Mukalla port on Tuesday.
Ahmed Al Niyadi, Deputy Head of the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, team in Hadhramaut, said that the arrival of these buses falls within the framework of the UAE's continuous support to restore stability to the liberated Yemeni governorates, and to alleviate the suffering of the country's citizens.
ADEN, 21st June, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has donated ten Toyota Landcruiser 4X4 ambulances to the World Health Organisation, WHO, Country Office in Yemen as part of its continuous support for the health sector in the country.
The ERC said that a second batch of ten ambulances would be delivered to the WHO Country Office in Yemen next month.

MUKALLA, 13th June, 2017 (WAM) -- The Mukalla port received on Tuesday a UAE aid ship loaded with essential food assistance as part of the Emirates Red Crescent's Ramadan food programme in Yemen.
An Emirates Red Crescent official said the assistance, the second shipment in just a week, will be distributed to the underprivileged families in the governorates of Hadramaut, Shabwa and Marib.
He added that the food assistance is also part of the UAE's ongoing relief efforts to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people.
MUKALLA: The Emirates Red Crescent on Friday delivered humanitarian and relief aid to the most underprivileged families in Mukalla, the capital city of Yemen's southern coastal governorate of Hadhramaut, as part of an aid operation that also covers the governorates of Shabwah and Ma'rib throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Beneficiaries of the UAE's latest aid delivery include a large number of widows and children.
