Executive Summary

UNHCR aims to be a fully age, gender and diversity inclusive organisation within the next four years. Yet the 2011 global analysis of UNHCR’s accountability frameworks for Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) revealed that only 14% of its managers worldwide reported full achievement of targeted actions for adolescents. This stands as one of the top four gaps in implementing the AGD policy.

Pour les Réfugiés centrafricains

• 55% des ménages centrafricains sont en insécurité alimentaire, dont 18% dans sa forme sévère et 37% dans sa forme modérée. Ces résultats sont très voisins lorsqu’on passe des ménages assistés aux ménages non assistés.

Burundi, a small and densely populated country in the heart of the East African Great Lakes region, has witnessed the return of more than 500,000 refugees over the past decade (UNHCR, 2011).
