August 19, 2010 (KHARTOUM) - Sudan announced today that it will begin airlifting aid to Pakistan starting next week as part of its relief effort campaign.The Sudanese Media Centre (SMC) cited the head of Al-Zubeir charity foundation Ibrahim Abdel-Halim as saying that the first airlift will contain 10 tonnes of food, medicine and shelter equipments as well as a medical team including all disciplines.

He said that the aid to Pakistan will continue after mobilizing all organizations which rushed to help in an expression of brotherly feelings towards people there.
