NRGI seeks to hire a Research Associate (RA) to work with and support the President, in conducting applied research related to governance issues; obtain, manage, organize and analyze data, help prepare presentations and briefs on substantive governance and related matters, and also assist with the substantive preparation of materials for high level meetings, events and outreach activities. The Research Associate will report directly to the President.
Provide Research Assistance (80%):
NRGI is hiring a Myanmar Senior Officer to support the implementation of NRGI's 2015-2018 Myanmar strategy. As part of the country team, the new hire will be actively involved in NRGI's multi-faceted engagement with the civil society organizations, government institutions and other key stakeholders in the extractive industry as the government, led by the National League for Democracy (NLD), embarks on a series of economic and political reforms for improved resource governance where Myanmar citizens realize the long-term benefits of their to natural wealth.
