A Youth Charter to empower young Somali men and women

There is finally hope for peace and stability in Somalia. However, limited education opportunities combined with high rates of unemployment are still a major challenge for young men and women. CISP has sponsored 40 teachers to attend a specifically adapted ECD Certificate course at Talea College in Malindi. The teachers, who were previously untrained, will receive three months of professional in-service training at the college. The training curriculum was adjusted to suit CISP's Education Programme in partnership with TALEA College in order to ensure that all teachers were fully equipped to deal with important issues surrounding community school management.
