Protection of Children Affected by Armed Conflict: Report of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict (A /53/482)
Focusing on issues concerning children and armed
conflict, the annual report of the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General
offers an overview of his work in this area. In the context of progress
achieved and challenges remaining with respect to the goals set out at
the World Summit for Children in 1990, the report considers the following
issues:
