Heavy rains on 9-13 May 2016 have resulted in flash floods and mudflows in at least eight districts of Tadjikistan. The floods affected at least 2,550 households. The most severely affected district is the Rudaki district, close to the capital Dushanbe.

The present map shows the flood damage grade assessment in the area of Dushanbe south east (TAJIKISTAN). The thematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using by means of visual interpretation. The estimated geometric accuracy is 12.3 m CE90 or better, from native positional accuracy of the background satellite image.
