Syria: Numbers and Locations of People Fleeing Internal Violence (as of 13 Jun 2012)
This map depicts the registration numbers for externally displaced Syrians in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq and the location of official camps and towns with sizable concentrations of Syrians living with host families or in public facilities in these four countries, as of June 2012. It also includes a bar graph showing the reported monthly numbers of Syrians registered and awaiting registration for humanitarian assistance in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq from December 2011 until the first week of June 2012. The product provides estimates of the numbers of internally displaced Syrians, as well as refugee and migrant populations inside Syria. The situation is changing rapidly, and the data is based on assessments and estimates from various open source reports as of early June 2012.
