HIGHLIGHTS

Madagascar
There is a 26% (US$ 4 Million) short fall for the second phase of the anti-locust campaign in Madagascar. The last IDP site in Antananarivo is confirmed closed.

Malawi
Camps in Phalombe, Mulanje and Zomba districts are reportedly closed but Nsanje and Chikwawa some IDP’s remain in camps.

Tanzania
As of 15 May 2015, the population influx from Burundi had risen to 18,563. There have been reports of an increased risk of an outbreak of water-borne or other diseases due to the lack of water and sanitation. On 16 May there were 77 suspected cases of cholera. A CERF has been requested.
