Haiti: Cholera cumulative cases and fatality rates since November 2010 (Published on 10 August 2012) (EN/FR)
The number of cholera cases has been declining since July. Despite this drop, the Nord, Nord-Est, Centre, Sud departments and the metropolitan Port-au-Prince remain fragile and are considered areas where cholera is likely to remain much longer. According to statistics provided by the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), the daily average number of new cholera cases during the month of July was 213 compared with 820 during the same period in June.
