The number of IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons) is still rising in Bangui and reached now 160 000. There are more than 40 camps in the city.

• In Bossangoa, 48 500 IDPs registered in 3 main camps.

• The situation remains tense in the country and more and more inter-religious clashes are reported.

• An ECHO chartered plane is scheduled for 14 December. It will depart from Brussels to Bangui and contain 37 tons of mainly medical material.
