Synoptic Situation: Monsoon axis runs through Rajasthan, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal thence northeastwards to Assam across Central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated trough extends to Northwest Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate elsewhere over North Bay.
Forecast: Light to moderate rain/T. showers accompanied by tempo. gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places.
Temperature: Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The Brahmaputra is in falling trend which may start to rise while the Ganges is in rising trend which may continue during next 24 hours.

The Jamuna, the Padma and the upper Meghna river systems are in falling trend which may continue during next 24 hours

The Jamuna at Bhadurabad, the Kangsha at Jariajanjail & the Lakhya at Narayanganj are flowing above their respective danger level by 5 cm, 87 cm and 5 cm recorded today at 06.00 AM.

The flood situation in Jamalpur, Netrokona & Narayangonj may slightly deteriorate in next 24 hours.
