-- The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has ordered 600 tons
of food for child supplementary feeding programs in Zimbabwe, the Herald
newspaper reported on Saturday.
A further 1,600 tons of infant food is
expected later this month, according to the report.
Zimbabwe is in the middle of a severe
drought that has hit southern Africa, leaving some 7.8 million people countrywide
in need of food aid.
