The Project Coordinator manages the implementation and coordination of the designated field projects. Providing leadership, strategic direction, management and evaluation of all aspects of the Medair projects, the Project Coordinator also plays a key role in liaison with local authorities and other relevant stakeholders, team leadership and security.

GVC (Gruppo di Volontariato Civile) is an Italian NGO (non-governmental organisation) working in the Bekaa Valley in support of Syrian refugee families.

For the implementation of its activities in the frame of the emergency project “Provision of improved access to safe water and sanitation to under-served Syrian and Lebanese families in the Bekaa Valley”, currently in the negotiation phase with UNICEF, GVC is looking for a LOCAL TECHNICAL CO-ORDINATOR as per the following requirements.

COUNTRY: Lebanon with possible mission in Syria, if conditions will allow

NGO: Oxfam Italy

DEPARTMENT: International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid

POSITION: Humanitarian expert for the Syria crisis

STARTING DATE: from June 2013

DURATION: 3 months, renewable

SALARY: minimum 2,500.00 Euro - maximum 3,000.00 Euro, (gross per month), according to candidate’s previous experience.
