Catholic Relief Services is an International Non- Governmental Organization that was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States to serve World War II survivors in Europe. Since 2010, UMCOR’s work in Haiti has focused on emergency response and recovery programming from the devastating earthquake in January 2010 that affected large parts of the country. Broad Description of the Role The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) seeks a CBPHC Technical Officer to provide technical guidance to UMCOR field offices, United Methodist hospitals and clinics, and grassroots partners around the world in the area of maternal and child health (MCH) and integrated primary health care initiatives.
