The Executive Director, working under the guidance of the East Asian Seas (EAS) Partnership Council and Executive Committee, and with the collaboration of member countries in the region, provides the necessary leadership for the smooth and effective operation of PEMSEA as a regional coordinating mechanism for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy for the Seas of East Asia (SDS-SEA).

Main tasks:

Regional Finance Manager’s provide the financial management and oversight for our Asia-Pacific area’s assets and resources in over 20 countries throughout the region. Our team of Regional Finance Managers provides key support and guidance to Finance Managers in the National Organizations (NOs), participate in the design of grant proposals and analyze as well as report on NO’s financials. Our Regional Finance Team provides the needed support and training on implementation and maintenance of appropriate financial systems and may travel up to 30% within the area.
