BACKGROUND

The Inter-Agency Working Group on RH in Crises was created in 1995 and has since grown to become a network of over 1,200 individuals, representing some 450 organizations worldwide. In recent years, the IAWG has generated key tools and guidelines for adequate provision of RH to crisis-affected populations, including the 2010 Revision of the Inter-Agency Field Manual for RH in Crises.

BACKGROUND CRS seeks a Project Director for the $14 million USDA/ FFPr funded Revenue through Cotton Livelihoods, Trade, and Equity (RECOLTE) program in Burkina Faso. This program aims to improve the livelihoods of 12,000 vulnerable smallholder producers, at least 30% women, who cultivate between 1-6 hectares of land, with an average of 0.6 hectares in organic cotton. The Project Director will be responsible for the achievement of strategic objectives, intermediate results, and performance expectations through adherence to high standards of programmatic and management quality.
