UNICEF wishes to recruit a team support (one international consultant – level P4 and one national consultant – level NO-C) to contribute to the on-going process of modelling of integrated ECD services for children between 0 and 6 years old in Rwanda, by Government and partners, with the aim of improving the quality of existing services and laying the foundations to assure the quality of all new ECD services in Rwanda.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

Under the general guidance of the Chief Child protection, you will be responsible for the formulation, design, planning, monitoring and evaluation of Child Protection interventions to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of the programme management, delivery and accomplishment of programme goals and objectives.

You will promote intersectoral partnerships leading to responsive child protection systems build on the strengths of issue-specific programming; and which addresses specific forms of vulnerability.

Chemonics seeks a long-term maternal and child health (MCH) advisor for the USAID-funded Rwanda Family Health Project (RFHP). This five-year program aims to increase the use of district-level facilities and community-based family health services. The project works in an integrated set of service areas including family planning and reproductive health; HIV/AIDS; maternal, neonatal, and child health; malaria prevention and treatment; nutrition; safe water and hygiene; and tuberculosis.
