The Regional Program Planning of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) is soliciting proposals from qualified INSTITUTIONS to conduct an analytical study of key future trends impacting child rights well-being and the fulfilment of their rights in East Asia and the Pacific as well as to facilitate internal reflections on the implications for UNICEF programming and operation in the region.
UNICEF works to advance the rights of adolescents across all its programmes and policies. A small team of specialists promotes programming for adolescents that build on their assets and strengths, while addressing their unique vulnerabilities and risks.
Purpose of the Position
Under the guidance of the Comptroller, the incumbent of this post will develop and implement an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system for UNICEF. To achieve this, the incumbent will work through an inter-office ECM Project Board with members from various HQ divisions (DRP, ITSS, DOC, DFAM. PD, PFP, DHR, OIAI, EMOPS, Ethics Office) and regional offices. The project will build on existing UNICEF software investments in SharePoint and related technologies.

1. BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT
UNICEF plays critical role in monitoring the situation of children and women in the world and for reporting on progress toward internationally set goals and targets, such as the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Toward this end, UNICEF’s Data and Analytics (D&A) Section supports countries to collect necessary data through the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), maintains a series of global databases on key indicators and conducts statistical analyses of the data for global reporting purposes as well as evidence generating.
