Progressio le ofrece a jóvenes entre los 18 y 25 años la oportunidad de ser voluntarios o voluntarias en África o América Latina con International Citizen Service (ICS). En particular, buscamos hispanohablantes para nuestros programas en El Salvador, Nicaragua y Honduras.

Serás voluntario/a en un equipo con una organización local por un periodo de 10 semanas, apoyando sus proyectos comunitarios en educación, incidencia o medio ambiente.

Your tasks

• oral interpretation: from Khmer to English, and English to Khmer during confidential interviews with persons detained in prisons, ICRC institutional dissemination, message delivery and visits to families of detainees,
• written translation: translation of written Khmer (newspaper articles, correspondence, etc.) into written English
• analysis and reporting: analysis of conditions of detention, security and other matters relating to the ICRC's mandate
