Who are we?
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has been providing relief and development services in the Horn of Africa and Yemen since 1997. Using a protection of human rights framework, DRC focused originally on Somalis who have been displaced by conflict, but now DRC’s regional programme encompasses support to forcibly displaced people from South Sudan and in Yemen as well. Intervention sectors include protection, livelihoods, NFI distribution, shelter, sanitation and hygiene, and water (WASH) amongst others.

Who are we?
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate to support a real time review aimed at learning and programme development. The review team will apply the OECD/DAC criteria – with a particular focus on appropriateness, relevance, coherence, and coordination. We are looking for a highly motivated assistant to run the reception desk for DRC’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Office, as well as performing other administrative duties. As the first point of contact with DRC MENA for internal and external people, this position requires someone with a professional, friendly and polite outlook. The successful applicant should possess excellent English language skills, and a high level of organizational and communication skills.
DRC is looking for a Safety Adviser (SA) for its programme in Tunisia/Libya. The SA is responsible for the implementation of the DRC Safety Risk Management System in both countries, working closely with the Country Senior Management Team and the Regional Safety Advisor (based in Amman).
