Training expert (Dadeldhura based) - Nepali national
AESA is managing ADB/NDF funded project in Nepal called Building Climate Resilience of Watersheds in Mountain Eco Regions (BCRWME). The IA is the Department of Soil Conservation and Watershed Management and it is located in the far west provinces of Nepal. The project office is in Dadeldhura.
The training expert will be expected to stay at least 80% of the time in the project area (based in Dadeldhura with some field travel) and 20% in Kathmandu. The position is expected to start in June or early July and be conducted on full time basis with estimated input of 32M until end of the project August 2020.
The national expert will support the international expert in all of his/her tasks and monitor the implementation of all training events and quality of manuals and training products produced. The training expert will prepare and organize a comprehensive training plan related to support Project implementation, which includes both the subproject program and the DSCWM watershed management planning approach/systems; plan, organize, and facilitate the training courses; Prepare regular reports on training activities; identify results indicators to measure training outcomes and develop monitoring tools and indicators to measure training results.
