Mexico: Hurricane Karl - Sep 2010

Disaster description

On September 17, 2010 a category 3 Hurricane, Karl, made contact with Veracruz, Mexico killing several people in a landslides and and forcing 40,000 into shelters. On September 20, the Mexican Red Cross began emergency assistance in Veracruz to support people affected by the floods that were brought on by Hurricane Karl.
