Tropical Cyclone Phet - Jun 2010

Disaster description

Tropical Cyclone Phet in the Arabian Sea struck the Oman coast on 4 June 2010. The cyclone hit the areas of Thatta and Bhanbor (Sindh) in Pakistan on 6 June. The strong wind and rain killed at least 10 people, and more than 7,000 people were evacuated from different areas of the Badin district (Sindh).
