Feed the Future Progress Report 2012: Boosting Harvests, Fighting Poverty

Feed the Future is the President’s global hunger and food security initiative and the U.S. Government’s contribution to the common approach to agricultural development and global food security agreed to at the G-8 Summit in L’Aquila, Italy in July 2009; reiterated and expanded by G-20 leaders at the Pittsburgh Summit that September; and ultimately endorsed by 192 countries at the United Nations at the World Food Summit in Rome that November.
